FAQs

Hopefully you'll find the answer to any questions below, if you can’t or you have a very quick turnaround, just email or call me. Details at the bottom of every page.

WHAT'S THE PROCESS OF HIRING A VOICEOVER?

You will always work directly with me. If you have a script ready to go, I would be happy to record a sample free of charge. Just complete my audition form. Your project is your vision, if I'm not right for it let's decide early on. I won't be offended. I have my own professional recording studio at home, you're welcome to listen in or give me directions as I record. I can patch you in with a simple email link. After discussing your requirements I'll get on with it, add any additional editing and send it back.

HOW QUICK CAN I HAVE THE FINISHED RECORDING BACK?

Most projects are completed within 4 hours. Obviously, long form narration and audiobooks will take more time. But, to get an idea of how long your specific project will take, complete my Quotation Form or drop me an email.

HOW MUCH DOES A VOICEOVER COST?

I have my own studio so this saves you time and money. From commercials to corporates, e-learning to telephone systems – each part of the industry uses a different costing system.

I am flexible and will work to your budget if I can, the best thing to do is complete my Quotation Form for a more detailed project price and timescale.

WHAT ACCENTS CAN I DO?

You're best off listening to my voice reel. I sound like a genuine local for Newcastle, Sheffield, general Yorkshire and can probably get away with quite a few other accents like Welsh, Scottish, General American and Australian. You be the judge of that, let me record a sample for you on my Audition Form.

DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR PICKUPS / CORRECTIONS IN A VOICEOVER SESSION?
No, I offer free unlimited retakes until you are 100% happy. I want you to love the result.  However, if your script changes after it has been signed off, I do reserve the right to add additional costs.

Any more questions, just email or phone me. My details are below.
